Your artwork is yours: Imported sketches and finished drawings are stored locally on your device.
Secure billing: Subscriptions are managed via RevenueCat and processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We never see or store your payment card details.
Transparent controls: You can manage ad consent choices at any time via Settings > Ad Privacy Choices.
1 Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy governs the mobile application AR Trace & Sketch (hereinafter referred to as the "Application", "App", or "Service"), available for Android and iOS devices, created and operated by Osdifa ("we", "us", "our", or "Service Provider").
We are committed to respecting and protecting the privacy rights of all users. This document explains what information is collected, how it is handled, and how your privacy is protected when you download, install, access, or use the Application.
2 Information We Collect
We believe in data minimization. We only collect the minimal technical and usage data strictly required to deliver, maintain, optimize, and secure the Application:
- Device & Diagnostic Information: Operating system version (Android or iOS), device manufacturer, hardware model, device language, battery/screen state, unique anonymous app installation identifiers, and crash logs (collected via Firebase Crashlytics).
- Usage & Interaction Data: Aggregate screen views, session durations, feature usage (such as line art filter toggles or category browsing), onboarding goal selections (such as drawing skill level and habit commitments), and aggregated interaction metrics (collected via Google Analytics for Firebase).
- Purchase & Entitlement Data: Anonymous purchase tokens, subscription active status, expiration dates, and product identifiers (managed via RevenueCat). We never receive, collect, or store payment card numbers, bank account details, or billing addresses.
- Network & Approximate Location: Anonymized Internet Protocol (IP) addresses collected by network infrastructure (Google Firebase and BunnyCDN) for geographic routing, regional content delivery, and abuse prevention. We do not request or collect precise GPS location coordinates.
3 Device Permissions & Hardware Usage
To provide Augmented Reality (AR) tracing and local creative tools, the Application requests specific hardware permissions. These permissions are strictly sandboxed and utilized as follows:
Used strictly for real-time optical AR projection. The live feed is displayed on your screen so you can trace images onto physical paper. Camera frames are processed in volatile memory on-device and are never uploaded or streamed to any remote server.
Used solely when you tap to pick a custom photo from your gallery to trace, or when you explicitly choose to save your completed artwork or recorded session video to your device gallery. We do not inspect or upload other files.
Used to schedule daily drawing practice reminders on your device based on your chosen practice time and local timezone. These notifications are scheduled locally via the device operating system without remote server tracking.
When tracing directly on your mobile screen with paper laid on top, the app temporarily sets maximum backlight brightness and locks touch interaction to prevent accidental scrolling or screen sleep while you trace.
4 How We Use Collected Information
Any technical or usage information collected is used exclusively for legitimate business and operational purposes:
- Delivering Core Functionality: Facilitating optical image filters, AR tracing, font previews, and content catalog synchronization.
- Subscription & Purchase Entitlements: Verifying premium membership status, restoring prior purchases, and unlocking premium templates and fonts across your devices.
- Diagnostics & Stability: Investigating crashes, diagnosing device-specific rendering errors, and ensuring compatibility with the latest Android (API 36) and iOS releases.
- Service Improvement: Understanding popular drawing categories and user onboarding flows to curate better artwork catalogs and improve user experience.
- Advertising & Mediation: Displaying contextual and rewarded ads to support free access to drawing categories and fonts for non-subscribers.
5 Third-Party Service Providers
We integrate reputable third-party SDKs that provide cloud infrastructure, analytics, monetization, and content delivery. These providers have their own privacy policies governing their collection and handling of technical identifiers:
6 Subscriptions & In-App Payments
AR Trace & Sketch offers optional premium subscriptions and purchases (e.g. Weekly, Monthly, Annual, or Lifetime access, with optional introductory free trials).
All financial transactions, payment card collection, billing, invoicing, and renewals are handled directly and securely by:
- Apple App Store: Governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and Apple Privacy Policy.
- Google Play Store: Governed by Google Play Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.
We use RevenueCat as our subscription infrastructure partner to validate platform receipt tokens and verify entitlement status. Osdifa never has access to your credit card number, CVV, or banking credentials.
7 In-App Advertising & Privacy Choices
To provide free access to curated drawings and font tracing tools, the Application displays advertising through Google AdMob and Unity Ads.
Consent Gathering (GDPR & UK)
In compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK data protection laws, we integrate the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK. Users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, and Switzerland are presented with a consent form before personalized ads are requested.
Managing Your Ad Privacy Choices
You can change or withdraw your consent preferences at any time directly within the Application:
Apple App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
On iOS devices (iOS 14.5 and newer), the Application respects Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. We will not access your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) for cross-app tracking unless you explicitly grant permission when prompted.
8 Data Retention & Deletion
We retain diagnostic logs and aggregated telemetry only for as long as necessary to support the purposes outlined in this policy or to comply with applicable legal obligations.
- Local Artworks & Media: Your drawings, custom imported photos, and session recordings remain on your physical device and are deleted whenever you delete them from the app or uninstall the application.
- Cloud Analytics & Diagnostic Logs: Firebase analytics and crash logs are automatically aggregated and subject to standard Google cloud retention cycles (typically 14 months or fewer).
- Data Deletion Requests: If you wish to request the deletion of any identifiable technical data associated with your installation or subscription, please contact us at osdifaofficial@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
9 Children's Privacy
Protecting the safety of children is paramount. The Application is not intended to solicit personal data from or market directly to children under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in the European Union).
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data to us, we will immediately delete that information from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at osdifaofficial@gmail.com so we can take immediate corrective action.
10 Data Security
We implement industry-standard physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect technical information transmitted between the Application and third-party infrastructure. All remote communication (such as fetching catalog updates or verifying subscription receipts) occurs strictly over encrypted HTTPS/TLS protocols.
While we strive to employ commercially acceptable means to protect information, please remember that no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is 100% impenetrable.
11 Your Legal Rights (EEA, UK & California)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may hold specific legal rights regarding your personal information under applicable regulations such as the GDPR, UK Data Protection Act, or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA):
- Right of Access & Portability: The right to request copies of data held about your device or installation.
- Right to Rectification & Erasure: The right to request correction of inaccurate data or deletion of your data ("Right to be Forgotten").
- Right to Withdraw Consent: The right to withdraw consent for advertising cookies or analytics tracking at any time.
- Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you (e.g. by denying access to core non-subscription features) for exercising any of your legal privacy rights.
- No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to data brokers or third parties for monetary consideration.
